At the inaugural awards show with the theme “Envisioning our green future,” DBP will be recognized for furthering the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), particularly Affordable and Clean Energy or SDG 7; Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure or SDG 9; Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG 11; Responsible Consumption and Production, SDG 12; Climate Action, SDG 13; and Life on Land, SDG 15.

DBP promotes Affordable and Clean Energy through its various programs such as the Energy Efficiency Savings Financing Program or E2SAVE as well as the Financing Utilities for Sustainable Energy Development or Fused program.

The financial institution’s environmental policy on credit delivery guarantees that its bankrolled initiatives are compliant with ecological laws and are environmentally sound to support Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure sustainability goals.
